Rancor gone?

toolargtoolarg Member Posts: 182
Dorn got hit by a stray arrow and since he has the constituion of a frail old lady he fell. So Kagain took all his stuff and grumpily carried it to the nearest temple only to find out that the sword Rancor had dissapeared from the inventory. Dorn was resuscitated but now uses a common sword, which is ok because having magical items from the get go is ass. Is this a bug or is it supossed to happen because of some sword-blackguard connection?

Well, theres a big difference between PnP and the actual mechanics of the PC game. In BG 14 con for a fighter type is pretty bad and it will be punished by the game itself (single arrow by kobold, bye bye. Many dont notice it because they just reload when a companion dies). But anyways, I'll do that, thanks.

The only benefit of that is he can use the Claw of Kazgoroth and not really lose anything from it.

Are you sure that you just didn't pick it up? I've had Dorn fall once or twice and his sword was always there you just had to pick it up and drag it with you to the temple.
