Does anyone know...
what to do with the dropped Basilisk Claw?

    Personally, I gave it to Neera so that she can finally comb her hair. Damn, that thing's a mess!

    Jokes aside, I'm curious about the item myself.

    Never found a use for it either, but I've only played SoD with an evil party so far.

    Bet it has no function now but should have been one of Jegg's ingredients for a weapon of sort...like scales and carapace.

    I carried it for a long time and I found no function for it. My guess is that perhaps it is related to a new npc sidequest?

    It's related to a quest given by the angry druid in the blackthorn area (the one next to the vampire cellar).

    If you don't have a druid in your party and decide to look for a cure for soldiers in the camp yourself you can come over to the angry druid who's standing in the same area as the basilisk. He will tell you to bring him the basilisk claw in exchange for the information about the cure.

    Pretty sure it's not only druids, my cleric/ranger could do it no problem.

    Although i did have the the druid spell portion activated. If that would make any difference.

    It is possible, didn't explore all the options all the options during my run. Maybe even a Shaman can do it.

    Rangers can figure it out too- I was able to have Minsc talk to a rat and find the cause.
