Why is my dialogue box so small after the patch?

in The Road to v2.0


I am playing the steam version on macbook pro. I loaded up one of my previous save today and find the dialogue box can only show one line at a time and I cannot find any option to tweak it.

I'm considering buying bg1ee and the expansion dlc but I won't do so until I know how to resolve this matter, as I assume this will happen on bg1ee as well.

There's a lot of rant thread in the steam's discussion forum and they got no responses. I personally do believe the changes are a good thing and am glad that some people are still working on this series, but right now the game is unplayable for me.

    Drag the edge of the dialog box upwards.

    I can't remember if I ever drag any UI boxes in POE before... but I haven't played that game in a long long time. I should probably buy the white march. Ah, so many good games, so little time, so few money...
