Is there a way to tweak the QuickSave button?

I'm playing BG2EE: Shadows of Amn (with the 2.0.1.2 patch). I'm not sure how to ask so I am going to describe what I'd like and maybe someone can pass along some info to help me out. I'd like to be able to click the QuickSave button to save my place. I'd like the system to allow for some number of quicksave files, perhaps ten. I'd like the system to create a new quicksave file each time I click the QuickSave button without overwriting the most recent one but perhaps overwriting the tenth oldest quicksave file.
Currently, I seem to be able to create just one quicksave file. I could swear that BG1 created numerous quicksave files. Is there a setting I missed within BG2EE? Perhaps there is a mod that would provide this functionality? Your help is very appreciated and I thank you for the courtesy.
