In search for "Story Rich" Companion

I'm starting this subject because i'm currently replaying BG1 (with the EE, and with the game in original language, firsts times i have play, i have play in my mother tongue and believe me it's was really strange&funny but really different) and i'm don't really know what companions are the "best" (in this case i'm in search for "story rich" companion -> with a lot of dialogue line or if not a lot story you think it was really interresting) so do you have recomandation ? (i plan to play with the same team throught BG1:EE / BG:SoD and BG2:EE)

Hmm. Well, the BG1:EE characters with the most substantial quests are ultimately the new ones - Dorn, Neera and Rasaad. There are a few characters with smaller subplots - Coran, Edwin/Dynaheir/Minsc, Kivan - but these are usually related to a single area, after which they have little to say.

You might consider using the BG1NPC mod, it fleshes out every single character such that almost everyone becomes story-rich. :)

BG2 is a somewhat different matter. The characters who have personal quests are Dorn, Neera, Rasaad, Hexxat, Anomen, Cernd, Edwin, Haer'Dalis, Jaheira, Jan, Keldorn, Korgan, Mazzy, Nalia and Valygar.

Of course, in BG2 there's a lot of content you only see with certain combinations of characters - for example, Haer'Dalis and Aerie have a whole subplot together, likewise Korgan and Mazzy.

I have already install this mod :) ! (very recommanded by a friend i totaly believe when the subject is BG).

I have read in some place that Imoen have a more important part in BG2 (in never play it very long, just the very very start), i used to drop her somewhere because my mother tongue localisation was really ... ... but i find her pretty cool now that i play in english. Does she have some part in BG2 ? (If yes i'm keeping her)

Yes. Yes she does. But she'll be unavailable for part of BG2, for story reasons.

    Good luck!

You might also consider a themed party - say, "No Humans Allowed", all-female party, all-Neutral party, etc. Adds a bit of randomness and variety to the experience. :)

While I haven't tried out all the NPCs - I do recommend Dorn and Neera for more story rich companions. Although Rassad does talk a lot as well and his quest is a bit more complex then the others; Baeloth is just fun but sadly with no quest.
