IEEP Item text not displaying correctly

Hey guys, long time veteran of the BG series. Used to love making my own items and customizing my chars. And with this new update i was super excited to get back into it, anyhow.

When i make an item in IEEP, the item works as intended but the item name and title are always messed up, anyone know a way around this?

    Are you on Steam or GOG and do you have Siege of Dragonspear installed?

    Afaik, IEEP is outdated for over ten years. It's very unlikely that you'll be able to use it correctly with any of the Enhanced Edition games. Try DLTCEP or Near Infinity instead.

    IEEP is only good for the old games. It doesn't have the new effects and such of the EE games.
