Spoiler... How do I open the Gate? and poison quest

I am in the camp outside the castle there are 100s of crusaders that keep respawning coming out of the tents. There is a gate that is locked that will not open. I found a silver green crusader shirt- do I need to use this to talk to a guy coming out of a tent to open the gate. this is in the last part of the game I think the map is called Drongonspear castle - anyway it is just a big map with tents full of crusaders. One gate I opened but the other is locked where is the key?

Also I have poison for the crusaders where do I put that- there is some other quest stuff too I got to weaken the army but I cnat figure out where to put the items

Sounds like you are in the courtyard - you can't enter the castle itself through the front gate at this stage (it is a barred, unpickable lock). I would suggest checking out the underground river map to seek an alternative way in and find a place for that poison
