Help! I have no access to kits!

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I deleted BG:EE and redownloaded it for the new big update to version 2.0 something and I only have access to basic classes, no kits availible. It says BG:EE and I see some of the nagivation and information screens have been updated from the patch but Id like to have more options creating a character.

    Sounds strange. Screenshot? Sure you did not download the original game instead?

    it says version 2.0.62.2 ..... and the icon it put on desktop says BG:EE .... it was BG:EE that I had purchased from steam and the steam app is where I re-downloaded it from....

    I have access to the new Shaman class.... Are the Kits only availible for BG2:EE ???

    Edit: I reinstalled the game again and it seems to be fine now,
