Will the new companions in BG:EE also be in BG:EE 2?

TItle says it all, basically. Will I expect to find the new companions in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition in Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition?

    Hell yeah! They're currently deciding whether or not they will be found in Chateau Irenicus or somewhere else. Chances are, they probably won't be in Irenicus' Dungeon as that would be difficult to implement, but yeah.

    I wonder if you killed them they will still be there with a 'didn't I kill you before?' conversation option when you meet them.

    I think they will be there regardless, just like the original returning NPCs were. Whether they'll have that conversation option is up for grabs :).
