Missing character voices and import issues.

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
So I just finished SoD and wanted to see if importing was going to be a hassle, it was thanks to missing items and crashes, then I get to the end of the DLC and no Final-Save is created.
Whatever I just reload, get to the very end and manually save no biggy.
I go to import my character into 2 and for some reason when I regain control my character's control speech is talking about Aerie and other random things.

So I checked the customization options and none of the EE voices are available including the newer ones from 2.0/SoD wherever they came from.

Is this a 2.0 bug or what's happened?

    The SoD voice sets aren't in BG2 atm, so important as-is will return the wrong sounds. Go to "Customize" on your character menu and select new voice sets from BG2 to use, that should fix things.

    Okay sure I assumed that'd be the case but what happened to all the EE voices?

    BG2 didn't have any new voices when it went to EE, afaik. This isn't because of 2.0, there were none before that either.

    Note that you can import custom soundsets, and I'm sure someone has found a way to copy over the SoD voices.

    That's weird I want to check my other laptop to see if you're right about that, but won't be able to check until tomorrow.
    I could have sworn my Sorcerer from a year or two ago had the aggressive voice that came with EE working on 2.

    Okay yeah just checked and my old character had one of the default voices from 2.
    That's a real shame is there any way to mod the EE voices into 2?
