Gnoll Stronghold and area map background.

On the map I can see that there is acces to the area that is impossible to reach. It is a bug? Or there is something that I don't know?

    I Always spawn at the top of the map no matter where I travel from. I must use cheats to get to the bridge. Bug probably.

    The game is saying that you can walk there if you can get there, not necessarily that there is a path to get there.

    A few maps in the games have areas like this... little walkable areas you can't actually get to that serve no purpose.

    If you really want to check it out:

    Make sure your game is closed

    Go to your Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition folder

    Right-click on "Baldur" (it's an LUA file) and "Open With --- Wordpad"

    Paste the following line into the top of that file: SetPrivateProfileString('Program Options','Debug Mode','1')

    Then boot up the game, CTRL+Space opens the Console/Debug window. Click "Explore" to reveal the entire map. To get to that section of land, put your cursor over it with the selected party members, and hit CTRL+J
