Steam cloud saves.

I have been using cloud saving on my computer at home, now I'm at my girlfriend, and as she is not home I logged into my steam account and played Baldur's Gate 2. But my saves are unavailable. I have never used steam cloud services before, anyone know how why my saves aren't showing?

    I don't trust Steam cloud saves, for fear of the same sort of experience you're having. I've found them to be unreliable on other games, too, like Heroes of Might and Magic 6.

    I would be curious as well whether anyone is having a successful experience cloud-saving BG on Steam.

    Make sure its enabled on both games. Also try quiting out and reloading the game on your girlfriend's computer. Not sure what the default setting is but the game will need to be restarted before will appear.

    Also are you both using windows or a mix of OS's?

    Enabled on both computers you mean? I've done that, played a bit today as well.

    I'm using windows 7 and she is using windows 10.
