Game speed/Frame rate. Impossible to alter now?

So with 2.0 or 2.1, something seems to have happened.. I can no longer boost the gamespeed.

30 framerate is much, much too slow and it just feels so sluggish.. I changed it to 35.. then 40, then 45..
And I was thinking.. damn, shouldn't it be faster than this?

So i set it to 60, lo and behold.. it's still the same speed.

So.. somehow someone broke this.. or is it just me?

I can't play bg2 in 30 fps.. i've been at 45+ the last 15 years.

The file has changed now for settings, make sure you make the changes in baldurs.lua now as baldurs.ini no longer effects the game.
