I never noticed any apart from viconia and rasaad so they cant have been amazingly memorable. I play with npc project so maybe that drowned it out

No, it didn't. And there are some that are actually memorable. Neera has several fun talks.

Also forgot to mention I somehow triggered a romance with Glint. Was just trying to be friendly then he was all stop looking at other people. Didnt mind really but was a bit weird with my wife sitting in the room. I didn't like being rude or saying I was a man slut to get him to stop so had to load one conversation earlier (which was only 5 mins earlier strangely) where he tells you that you woke him up with your bhaalspawn dream to tell him that we'll each mind ourselves. It would be nice if they let you turn romances down in a non horrible way. the choices here were: I love you, you're pathetic or I wanna sleep around.

There are banters between the old and new npcs in BG1ee.

One thing SoD has quite a few of are challenging optional fights. You can simply walk away from the dead magic zone without fighting.

There is an extremely elaborate conversation involving Viconia, Dorn and Edwin. I believe there is also stuff involving Alora.

Interesting, I dont tend to keep the new npcs in BG1EE in party for that long so assume npc project swamped it out a bit or had the wrong npc combos. Ive yet to play BG2:EE so will be interested to see if theres lots of banter there with old and new as I will have at least one spot free probly for Neera.

Finished the game and wow it was a really great ending. Felt very epic descending into the hells and a fun final battle though only Minsc could hurt the boss. Really liked the twist and the change that it means for the dreams during SOD. Now I guess that means the dreams in BG2 could be either Irenicus meddling, your Bhaalspawn heritage or a combination depending on your interpretation, since he says he can access your mind, but that your resistance is increasing.

The whole epilogue ending with the trial in the streets, Corwyn the betrayer and the final meeting with the Hooded Man and getting to threaten him. Overall I felt it was a really just a great ending that ties into BG2 very well.

Overall it's a great game, I think for any Baldur's Gate fan it's definitely a 9/10 and essential for a trilogy or should that be saga playthrough.
