BGEE v2.1 Mods Not Installing OSX

I am giving BGEE a try instead of BGT in a wineskin wrapper. I tried to install:

BG1NPC
BG1UB
Divine Remix
Sound and Silence
RR
Tweaks
SCS w/ Fix
NPCEE

Everything seemed to install fine, but when I started a new game there were no changes from the mods. For example, Jaheira, Imoen, etc. we're supposed to have BG2 portraits and stats. I only played until FAI before noticing.

Any ideas? I put the mods in 0077 and used @subtledoctor Mac mod installer. Still missing LVL1NPC and BGT, but think BGEE.

Side question. Why is the GUI different? Was that from a mod? Did I screw it up? Also, characters are outlined in black. BGT looks visually better, but shouldn't. And how do I turn off journal entry pop ups? They are annoying.

    Thanks. I don't have SoD. I got BGEE, BG2EE, and IWDEE when they were on sale recently through Beamdog.

    I put them in Game Data folder (the one separate from the app launcher). I guess I will uninstall and try again.
