Balance Requests?

I've noticed a lot of people on the forums talking about balance, and I am wondering if there has been any discussion on resting and baldur's gate? I always thought it was kind of lame to have to rest 5 times before every battle in order to be fully healed and have spells ready.

Maybe an option to have spells refresh at the end of battle, or have a turn style cooldown?

    I believe in BG2 there is a rest until healed option, I'm guessing this feature will be in bgee as it runs on the bg2 engine
