in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Button on right side of screen has two positions off and off. What do the scripts do and why doesn't my button work? I see all my characters have one (except one).

    Scripts (which can be customized on the character pages,) allow the AI to take over for when you're not directly giving orders to characters. It might help just to set characters to certain styles (melee characters to Standard Attack, ranged characters to... Ranged Attack,) to have them fight when you have no orders to give them.

    I can't tell you why your button isn't working. Perhaps your characters are set to a custom or passive script, which, as far I as I can tell, both do nothing, causing them to just stand around.
