Whats the Purpose of the Collectors Edition Download?

As title suggests, the Beamdog client suggests that the Collectors edition is a seperate game from SOD as much as BG1 is to BG2 and IWD. Only it pre-downloads to 58B and then gets stuck at downloading status.

Was wondering what was what.

    Mine stopped the first time downloading as well. I started over and got a complete and playable game. You should be able to as well.

    Later on my filthy fingers will touch the CE when they ship it to me. Then I just own two versions of the game. And useful gadgets.

    The game should be completely identical. Hoping the worst bugs are handled on my DVD to be that is.
