[Mod] [Resolved] Shaman level -1??

I just decided to try out a shaman, because I am considering doing a run through again. The problem is, I can't. I have tried multiple times, and get the same result. The moment I begin the game, it registers my level as zero, and gives me zero of one hit points. I looked in the character record sheet, and it shows I need -1 XP to reach the next level. I am still able to move around and interact with NPCs, but cannot manipulate the inventory. In addition, I cannot go rest, or save and reload the game, because it registers as instant death.

Anyone else experienced this problem?

    I've just rolled a completely random shaman (didn't check stats... just kept clicking done) and all seems to be working fine.

    Have you tried making different types of Shaman? Different stats? What Constitution does he or she have? Maybe it is some obscure bug? Are other newly made characters affected?

    Alternately, you could repair the installation. Maybe something broke? I'm sure others on the forums may be able to offer clues.

    This. Especially kit mods (even if they aren't for a shaman kit).

    I just finished installing the 2.1.63.2 version update, and checked to make sure everything was fine. I don't have any mods installed except to remove the XP cap. The only thing that has been affected, that I have seen thus far, is the Shaman. Everything else appears unaffected.

    I tried doing a shaman via three different brand new character creations. All had the exact same outcome. I hurried through the creation process, so didn't really care too much about the stats, as long as they were reasonable for a shaman. Which is to say, as long as they didn't suck, I let it pass.

    Just decided to try a few random classes, and everything worked perfect. So, I tried the shaman again....Same result.

    @MehZhure Try again with a clean game installation. Since the shaman is new, chances are that the XP cap remover screwed up level progression for the shaman class.

    Hmmm. Now that I am really looking at this shaman glitch, the stats are all out of whack. Base THAC0 is zero? All saving throws are zero? Something is seriously messed up.

    Finally.... okay, so the problem was the xp cap remover. The one I used was this one... baldursgatemods.com/forums/index.php?topic=7796.0 ,,, and apparently with the update, it screws up the shaman class. All is fine now...just have to go remove the xp cap in a different way.
