Saving is not working

After starting this game back up again , new saves will not record. My old file stays the same without updating. My quicksave slot also will not save despite the "save successful* message. Windows 10 has been the only real change to my computer so i am not sure what has happened. I bought the game on Steam and have it updated.

    Upgrading to windows 10 may be what caused this. I would uninstall any mods you have installed and then verify the integrity of your game cache.

    Windows 10 undoubtedly caused this. If you investigate it is to do with the permissions settings of your My Documents folder - it will be set to Read Only and will stubbornly resist you removing this.
