Siege of Dragonspear Merchant in BGII

In BGII there is already a merchant in the Copper Coronet that sells some Icewind Dale related items, as well as a lady in the Adventurer's Mart that sells some Planescape items (that's my understanding at least; I never played Planescape). I'd like to suggest adding another merchant somewhere that can sell some of the items from Dragonspear. I'm thinking about putting in a feature request on Redmine but thought I'd see what everyone else thought and get some feedback. What do you think of the idea? Where would be the best place for such a merchant? Which items would you like the merchant to sell?
