Neera romance in bgee has no continuity in SOD

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
Won't mention how Neera leaves without an explanation at the start of SOD, it makes no sense for the player character's point of view that she speaks to you after you encounter her again in SOD as if no romance ever happened between the two if you had romanced her in bgee.

    To be fair, your romance in BGEE is basically a kiss and an "Mmmm, I liked that, but maybe not anything else just for the time being, okay?"

    Neera's Neera. It's entirely IC for her to have a budding romance with you and then just take off (it's also IC for her to uncharitably misunderstand something you said and take off). Also a possibility is that she took off due to Adoy being in her head, as she has the dialogue set indicating as much when you're in the prelude dungeon in SoD (this is probably just an oversight, but no reason it couldn't be because the Adoy thing started up around then).

    In either case, when you meet her in SoD, she's so obsessed with her own problem that she barely cares who you are anymore. Which is, again, extremely in-character for her.

    She's going to leave you AGAIN inbetween SoD and BGII, as well. Charname just has to get used to the fact that while Neera cares, she cares in an idiosyncratic way that doesn't preclude her taking off and leaving you in the lurch when something else comes up.
