After Update, Norton Deletes 'Suspicious' exe

The update downloaded last night, but when I tried to Play the game afterward, I got a message saying, I guess, that Norton had deleted the game:

"A program was behaving suspiciously on your computer.
This program was removed.

File c:\program files (x86)\beamdog\games\00806\siegeofdragonspear.exe
Threat Removed"

When I now go back to the Play screen, previously showing the update progress, it says Preload Complete but doesn't let me proceed. So I'm stuck. I'm not exactly computer savvy, so I don't know what to do. What do I do?

I don't know how to fix it, however it is likely due to the P2P behaviour of the initial splash screen. Try setting an exception in your anti-virus and maybe then running a repair files from the launcher.

In such case, use the Restore link to recover the file.
If you closed the window, you can also recover the file if you go into the security history: you should find this removal in the recent operations and you will be able to restore the file.
I can't give you more accurate terms as I'm using Norton in another language.
