in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I am playing through the main game currently. Is it worth buying the expansion now, or only after the core game is complete? I'm more curious about the additional and new content that comes with it - quests, items, sound sets. Are these available right away, or only in the expansion?

Kinda feel dumb for asking, I should prolly know this haha! I just don't want to spend the money now unless I need to, and was planning on buying at end game.

    That stuff is part of the SoD expansion itself.

    Soundsets and the shaman class are available from the start with an SOD install, but the quests and items are all SOD-content only. And SOD takes place exclusively post-BG1. So it's probably safe to hold off, unless you really want the soundsets or something.
