Compilation of quotations/references

I think it would be really interesting to compile a list of all deliberate quotations and references found in Baldur's Gate I & II. These could be literary, visual, or musical. For example, there might be a direct quote of Shakespeare in some conversation node. Have you found anything like this in your plethora of playthroughs?

The "cursed" play in the BG2 Bard Stronghold is a reference to Shakespeare's Macbeth, which was thought to possess a curse. Playwrights/actors even referred to it as the "Scottish play" to avoid saying the true name.
Then there's Larry, Darryl and Darryl, of course.
More?
Bhagavad Gita -> Oppenheimer -> Xzar
"Tell me 'bout da rabbits!"
Of Mice and Men
Xzar is absolutely full of references, though. I couldn't name 'em all.
Is from the Jabberwocky.
Agreed on Xzar. He has my vote on favorite quotes in BG.
