Came back to the last BG1EE game I had in progress pre-SOD, with the EE party members (Neera, Rasaad, Dorn, Baeloth) with Safana as the thief (not knowing how perfect that would be for SOD) and I gotta say, it's good to be back in what, for me, is still hands-down the best part of the entire saga.
Don't get me wrong; SOA has some good bits in it (especially if you take Bhodi's side in the guild war!), TOB is a fitting end to the saga, and while I've not finished my first SOD playthrough yet, I like the Bhaalspawn lore that's been included. But BG1 is still the one.
It's like coming home.
