Do you return to baldur's gate later in the game?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
Forgot to loot the chest in the duchal palace that contain's Imoen's gear. Should I just replay from the earlier save or can you get to it later.

    You'll have to load a previous save. Once you leave the city you don't return until the very end. I'm not sure but those chests might still carry over into the Flaming Fist camps in each chapter.

    Your chest (not Imoen's) is carried through the various camps, there is a map marker for it.
