Hell Trials (spoilers)

I've been doing the Hell trials, and I noticed I'm not getting either the good/evil rewards when completing any of the trials. For example, doing Pride should give your character 20% elemental resistances for the good path, and 200K xp for the evil path (at least in original BG2). I tried both and got neither.

Same thing for the other trials. I don't get any of the rewards for either path. Is this a bug? or were they intentionally removed from the game.

    You get the rewards by turning in the tears of Bhaal to the big door. Have you done that?

    *facepalm* ahhh....that's the part I was forgetting. Thought the bonuses were given right after getting each tear. Thanks!
