Flaming Sword Graphics

In BG1, flaming swords, like the flame tongue, had a fiery animation graphic in the main screen.

In BG2, flaming weapons seemed to use a rather normal animation; they just glowed.

That stinks.

Can we get our flames back? I understand that the original animation files were lost. However, I bet editing the normal sword animation to have flames is well within the range of accomplishment.

Heck, I'd be willing to do it for the devs if they asked me to! Not much of an artist, but I bet I could.

Yeah, I liked the BG1 version better too... Actually, I liked better the BG1 graphical version of almost everything (female warrior paperdoll aside...).

They are implementing some of the 1pp mod components, I hope they will implement the 'flaming sword' component.

Yeah it'd also be cool if Gnomes had separate paper dolls / sprites then Dwarves, but prolly not gonna happen
