Killed everyone

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
I am seriously considering killing everyone in the city of Baldur's Gate on my current playthrough. So when I start SoD, do I go back to the city and it's as though nothing happened I suppose? I hope not :)

    SoD populates BG with a lot of new people so it probably won't be an issue. Probably.

    SOD has Baldur's Gate filling up with refugees. So you can't kill those who have not shown up yet.

    Yes I must admit that Tiax has been a bad influence on my character :)
    Are there any characters in the city that will break the game if I kill them?
