Fast XP for recovering Dual Class

So, I'll be entering BG2 in a few days with a character I intend to dual class. I've got some meta-knowledge of BG2(I've done the first few chapters and Watcher's Keep previously), but I'm looking for more ideas how to gain XP quick to recover my original class.
My first step will be to make sure I'm well geared for my new class. Beyond that, I'm planning on going solo, taking advantage of Scrolls of Undead Protection to kill the various liches on the Kangaxx quest, and the shield of Balduran to get through Unseeing Eye. I figure that'll get me to around level 9ish pretty quick. I'll need to get up to 14 though.
Are there any quests with low combat requirements and high xp rewards? Any early areas with lots of high xp undead(to further exploit the scrolls)?

You can get a good chunk from fairly easy quests, but not nearly enough. You'll have to do actual work.
I might make a very early push into Watcher's. I entered there solo on a previous character at around level 15, and found I gained levels like crazy. With enough preparation, I might be able to do it around level 10 with the new char.
With a small party - complete half to 3/4 of chapter 2 and you'll reach level 14 easy enough even without going to WK. Just make sure you do everything.
Bring a thief companion (Jan will do nicely for this) and open and untrap everything for easy xp.
Do the easy quests solo - many of the NPC quests are easy to do with just them.
I am assuming you are dualing to a mage - then do the scroll thing to get past the early levels of a mage.
Since it was a small party, we were pretty much ahead of the power curve, Viconia and Imoen were almost epic levels, and I had a low level fighter which, due to UAI could wield the best gear, making up for a lot of his lack of experience. Charname's team mates carried a lot of the weight for a small time. But in no time the fighter was 12, 13, 14... and able to contribute nicely.
It was still a long time before regaining the original class abilities back, but my point is that the game was still very playable even with a gimped main character. It was just a different kind of team. So I think dualing at level 13 is totally do-able if you have a relatively small team which is already ahead of the power curve for whatever chapter you are in.
It's painful if all you want is your superman back and cant stand being overshadowed by the NPC's. But if you don't mind playing a game with Super Girl, Wonder Woman, and Ted from accounting for a stretch, then its fine. Go for it. No need for meta game quick XP.
The question is rather one of how easy you want things to be, or how efficient. That is a personal choice, and always will be. For me, I find that, while dualing at 13 is not even close to impossible or even difficult, it is a complication that I find not to be in proportion to what you gain for having 4 extra levels (compared to a more common lvl9 dual). That doesn't mean people can't or mustn't or oughtn't do things differently - but they should know what it entails.
Of course you aren't shut down while regaining levels. You're merely a single class that is somewhat underleveled, which is pretty much no different from going into the game and straight to some of the more challenging areas as any regular single class. The process of leveling up is also essentially the same. There are some sources of "hassles-free" experience from easy FedEx or dialog quests, but those are limited - the more XP you need, the more "real" quests and combat you will have to do.
I know the first 10 can be done -extremely- quickly. Even in BG1 it takes me maybe 2 hours to recover my original class on a level 7 dual. My meta knowledge of BG2 just isn't as deep, so I'm looking for tips.
The great thing about quest XP is that it's often not shared among the party, but that is a moot point when running solo. Still, quests do give hefty chunks of xp. You should definitely complete as much of the pre-Spellhold story quests as you can.
You can always boot everyone from your party and scribe delete spells for a ton of XP. However it's such a cheesy exploit you may as well cheat in XP.
The quickest way to get a lot of XP is to 99% complete as many quests as you can. Then when you switch to your new class go and claim everything. That'll at least help and is fairly combat-light. Of course you miss out on XP from killing critters though.
