SHould be here by thursday....

WHich patches should i go for, 2.0 ? do i have a choice?!

It possible to turn on 3rd edition rules? I got used to some while playing IWDee eg for backstabbing.

is the patch on a website (link) ? or only downloadable from the launcher?

    No. You're stuck with 2E.

    No, due to the corporate BS outside of Beamdog's control, the discs are stuck at 1.3.

    The disk versions currently aren't update-able, sorry. There is not a patch or files to download at this time. You are free to download a variety of mods applicable to 1.3 however.

    Was watching a play through of sod, and noticed the `advanced ai` offering much more control/settings of companions actions.

    was this brought into bg2 in some patch, or is that a sod only thing?

    I can `upgrade` my UI regardless of patch installed? or is the patch number and ui very interlinked?

    The 2.0 patch and the new UI features are linked. Advanced AI was added with 2.0 so all three games have it now.
