NPC's weapon proficiencies

Since they're implementing SoA's weapon system, I suppose they'll have specific weapon proficiencies. I hope they choose starting proficiencies that match the npc's background - such as sword and shield for khalid, and bow proficiency for Eldoth .

In tutu the npc's proficiencies were pretty off-character in some cases, so I just hope BG:EE won't.

Tutu = every fighter dual wields.

Yeah, I had to change a lot of that as well.

Yeah, I'm really curious how that's going to work out since they're "not allowed to change original NPCs" by contract limitations.

    And lol @decado. Seriously, hahah.

They have to convert the NPCs to the engine's proficiency system. Elsewhere, I recommended they use BGT's proficiencies, since Ascension64 and I hashed that out at length some time ago and came up with something everyone's agreed on (or haven't disputed anyway - and yes, there's always Level 1 NPCs if anyone wants to change them). Tutu just never corrected the issues of poor initial proficiency implementation (BGT had the same at one point).
