The Fate Of your NPCs

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Thinking about my most recent game, its been quite a harrowing bloodbath.

> Hexxat...staked out in her tomb.
> Korgan...chunked by a Glabrezeu.
> Nalia...Disintegrated
> Minsc...went beserk and was put down by Viconia.
> Viconia...killed by Valygar.
> Valygar...I had Dorn sacrifice him in revenge.
> Mazzy...turned on me!
> Jaheira...tried to help the Harpers imprison me.
> Dorn...executed by Keldorn. Justice!
> Edwin...pushed Minsc too far, too often.
> Yoshimo....well we know what happened here.
> Aerie...murdered by Anomen
> Anomen...executed by Keldorn. Justice!

They're dropping like flies out there.

I started with a mixed party, lost several of the good aligned characters, tried to replace them with more good aligned characters, who either caused trouble or outright turned on me as my rep dropped. Improved my rep and recruited more good aligned characters who then began killing off the evil, and plain mad, ones.

Frankly, I blame Dorn and Keldorn most.
Keldorn especially seems to be taking it out on me for not letting him retire.

Anyone else running short of teammates?

    I've been losing some NPC's here and there.

    I killed off every other NPC in my latest evil group (Imoen too) except for Nalia. I did not accept her into the group so she married that ass Isaea Roenall...a fate worse than death for her.

    flat out amazing experience... Thumbs up from me! Ahh, but to experience the game again without knowing which NPC's will mesh and which not, the surprise when a fight breaks out or a party member up and leaves or attacks you... Great stuff and it seems you have the joy of experiencing a LOT of it for one play through! May be tough right now in regards to keeping a full and balanced party, but on down the road I imagine you will have some pretty cool memories of this play through! Well done!

    One way I have seen is if he fails his test he will go insane for a bit when Aerie tries to soothe him and attack her. If you run her around for a while he will stop.
