As far as when talks are set to fire, most are on a timer and will fire when the timer expires, as long as any other conditions are met. This can lead to them firing at what seems like odd times in the game, depending on what the player is currently doing.

No, this should be the first conversation with him, IIRC. I don't think ToB is needed, but I presume you play the EE's (Which automatically include Tob free of charge.)

Yes I know this, I know all about how dialogues work, which is really the point of this entertainemnt-purposed thread. Some of them are really silly, and I (was lucky to have) had one right here. Thought it was fun to share, for those who've never experienced this themselves.
I see, it must be the first talk for a PC that he has no romantic interest in then. For my female PC it would be something like, “I prithee, my lady… It fills me with no small amount of wonder” etc.
