Unable to start BG:EE on windows 10

I don't know if someone has any options to offer.
I purchased BG:EE through GOG. I had been play the original with no trouble.
But with this version, I keep getting a crash after pressing play.
I've tried through Galaxy, the icon, running as administrator.
I tried compatibility setting for other versions of windows, I tried the Itunes trick and updating the OpenAL through the game files.
I have a dmp file from the crash, just not sure how to upload it, I have been unable to read it (not the most skilled with this stuff, just want to play the game).

Any ideas? Thanks so much.

    You can upload it by attaching it using this button at the top of your post here. Best to put it in a .zip file first though, right click the .dmp file and choose Send To Compressed File.

    I'm feeling a bit dumb, but when I click on that icon, I only get the image URL box, not the drop image/file or choose files button, not sure why.

    Hmm, maybe try a different browser?

    Alright , Chrome and explorer were not having, went through my iPad, thanks

    Did you have it installed and then upgrade to windows 10? I know some people have had issues after upgrading.

    If you go into my documents/baldur's gate enhanced edition there should be a file called baldur.lua

    You can open it with any text editor. Search for a line called

    SetPrivateProfileString('Graphics','Backend','0')

    If its not there you can add it in. Except change the 0 to a 1. Then try launching the game.
