Forum Bug: No Permission to Edit Posts

When I first create a thread, I can access the Edit function through the gear icon, but if it's been a while I get redirected to a white screen that says this:

"Permission Problem

You don't have permission to do that."

Is this supposed to happen? Are we only allowed to edit posts within the first couple hours or so? I've tried logging in and out to no avail.

    I think there's a time limit for editing posts (1 hour?).

    What's the idea behind that? Do you know? Reddit didn't have that limit

    I don't really have an explanation for why that time limit was implemented.

    I've frequented other message boards where that same time limit is used for editing.

    Hmph. Actually all the forums I know from BG don't have a time limit- Bioware, Beamdog, and reddit. Shame for it to be here... At least I know it's not a bug, but still... grrr

    It's fixed now. You should be able to edit your posts for ever now.
