Problem w/ Overlevelled Mages in SCSv30 (Mod Compatibility Issue?)
![hippofant](https://forums.beamdog.com/applications/dashboard/design/images/defaulticon.png)
For some reason, the SCS better mages component (and probably the better priest component too, but I haven't troubleshooted that yet) is making all mage NPCs triple-class levelled. So for example, Tolgerias, who is normally 21/0/0 is becoming 21/21/21, which means his spellbook is maxed out (with 5+ casts of Gate). This is making even low-level mages very high-level - the Duregar Mage in Irenicus' dungeon is turning into 5/5/5, and then blasting me with Wail of the Banshees and Horrid Wiltings. (I'm pretty sure this is not expected behaviour.)
I've narrowed it down to the Better Mages component specifically, using NearInfinity to check their stats pre- and post-installation, but I'm unable to go any further in my investigations. I'm just too unfamiliar with Strategems and its scripting. Anybody have any idea why this is happening and what I might do to fix it? Is this because I installed Ascension or Spell Revisions? (I didn't have either in my last SCS playthrough.)

Never mind. Figured it out. I accidentally installed the equip component of the Rjali mod, which sets the # of spells castable by wizards at every level to 9, which then prompted SCS to set the level of every mage to ridiculously high and fill their spellbooks with crazy stuff.
