Key to free cult prisoners

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
In the area with the Eyeless priestess- I killed the winged creature, but never got the key from it. We fought by the door & I wasn't able to fully scan the corpse for items & have since slept/saved many time. Corpse is gone now.
Have I screwed myself & lost that key or is it hidden elsewhere?

    Wrong forum. You seem to refer to Siege of Dragonspear, not BG2.

    That winged creature is "Ziatar". As whether the "Jail Key" is dropped or found in the room on a table or in a chest, cannot tell for sure. Ziatar owns two keys. A corpse inside a doorway should not be any problem at all, because you could use the quick loot bar to access all loot up to several meters away.

    In case of doubt, why not simply reload your previous savegame and try again?
