Is Steam-version Baldur's Gate EE really using Steam Cloud?

In the game properties (right-click Baldur's Gate EE in Steam games list), under the Updates tab, there isn't the Steam Cloud checkbox that is there for other games which use Steam Cloud. Also, Steam Cloud isn't listed as one of the included Steam feature's on the Steam store page, on the right-hand bar.

Also, I just tried launching the game from my 2nd OS boot, and my saves from my other OS boot don't show up in the game, which tells me there aren't cloud saves.

    It works through Steam Cloud.

    Run Steam in offline mode, add a new mod, and then play BGEE for a bit (new game). Save your (new) game. Exit BGEE. Turn on online mode in Steam. Run BGGE. I'd bet Steam asks if you want to sync with the Steam Cloud.

    If it doesnt work, try dropbox. Copy the save files into a folder and it should sync, updating the savegame in the dropbox folder afaik.
