Bence Duncan Gone? - Pls ignore

So, I'm in the Troll Claw Woods. Skie had the conversation where she coldcocked Bence Duncan and he storms off. I was able to get in a conversation with Skie, but not Bence before he marched right. I cleared out the Trolls in the cave above, want to tell Bence...and he's gone. Doesn't appear to be in the camp anywhere.

Am I supposed to complete other tasks and then he comes back? I'm just surprised he left. - solved, saw him show up at the bridge after the battle.
