Some trapdoors not opening ToTL X_X

Recently, I started playing IWDEE again,
In ToTL the trapdoors in the towers do not always open, especially the Harpy Tower.
Anyone has any idea how to go about that? I am running the latest version of the game.
Oh, the secret door in Helm's Temple also not opening even though I can hear the door open.
