Where is Col?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
I'm trying to complete Safana's "traitor" quest, and all the evidence so far is leading me to a guy named Col. But I can't seem to find this guy, help please?

Also, what's up with those Dread Wolves in the Blackwood Grove refusing to die?

Please refrain from spoiling how the quest or the game turns out in your answers, I just want to know where Col is, and what's up with those wolves.

    Col is in the top left area of the map, which is bit seperated from the rest. Left from where you meet Phossey and one of the commanders.

    The wolves have to be finished with fire/(acid?).

    @KampfKaninchen Thanks, but why do Dread Wolves suddenly need Fire? They certainly didn't before.

    dunno exaclty...iirc it was stated somewhere, that this is PnP behaviour, so that's not a bug but intended (for better or worse; just would have been nice, if that would be explained ingame, like with "Elminster's Almanach")

    I've never had to use acid or fire for dread wolves. Sounds like a bug.

    It is intentional behavior. It just hasn't been applied to BG1 dread wolves.

    it didn't happen for me in SOD either.
