Is it possible to play Siege Of Dragonspear with 1.3.XXX version?

Like the title suggests, I was wondering if I can play new addition without new UI's introduced in 2.0.

It would break M'Khiin, a bunch of new items and spells as well as a ton of scripts presumably.

You can mod the UI if that's your only issue with 2.x.

Hell, the UI improvement is one of my favorite things about SOD

My games report:
SoD: 2.1.63.2
BGEE: 1.3.2053
BG2EE: 1.3.2064
With that, I successfully played and completed SoD (didn't have the EE companions in my party for much time, though).

Yeah, you can have a separate install of BGEE running an older version. This will use the same folder as SoD for savegames, portraits, etc.
However, if you play SoD, this is not used. You have two separate copies of Baldur's Gate installed.
