Are ability scores hard coded?

as the title says, are the ability scores hard coded? I remember waaaaaaaaaay back in the day a friend of mine had a con score in the 200s, and for the life of me I cant figure it out for near infinity on IWDEE, all I want to do is be able to set them to 30 - and its just for the lols, and the peculiar thing is on the NI tables I can actually give values for scores above 25, but I still cant go any higher

and the even more bizarre thing, I can make it go pass 5 slots for weapon proficiencies no sweat, I have it set so you can go as high as 7 slots, and it works like a dream, but the ability score thing is just not happening, does anyone know how to make it so I can go pass 25? there has to be a way as I say, I've had a friend done it before eons ago

    The Enhanced Engine enforces the 25 cap on ability scores.
