Voice actors - language

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hello,

browsing the Beamdog webpage I noticed that there is audio in German for Baldur's Gate.

Does this mean the voice actors have recorded everything in German as well, or have the developers once contracted German voice actors for the job?

Can anyone tell me what Minsc sounds like in German? :smile: Probably awesome.

    Ofc they are not the same VA ;D it's the german dub from 1998.

    Just change the language in the options menu, restart, and then you have german text and voices. Same for some other languages.

    Indeed. But with a heavy russian/rashemi accent. It's Soviet-Minsc.

    Fun Fact: In the enhanced Edition, his name is "translated" to Minsk. Though Minsk is Minsk in english, too. wtf?!?


    As I said above, if you want to know how he sounds, go to Nashkell, change language, restart and rejoice ;)

    To be honest, I was planning to start up a new game and play through the whole saga with German voices, just to experience the language ride. :)
