Unable to install SCS on BG 2 - Permission denied

Has this happened to anyone else. Any ideas on how to fix it? I have a Mac with the latest version of BG 2 EE. I installed other mods fine. I installed Ascension, Dungeon Crawl, Imoen Romance, Mazzy friendship, and all went fine. Then I tried SCS with the four files to fix in 2.0 and later. I got permission denied. I wonder if I am doing anything wrong with this particular mod when installing.

I unzipped it and placed the SCS folder and setup.stratagems in my 00782 game folder. Placed the four fix files in their respective locations and then executed Weidu. I got a window as usual and chose setup stratagems. My terminal window appeared and so far so good, but I get ./setup-stratagems: Permission denied.

Does anyone know what may be going on? or am I doing something wrong for this one mod?

    Well - not sure what happened, I made no more changes, just decided to try one more time and it worked. Not sure what was happening to stop it previously. Oh well - at least it works.
