As a fan of both a good Let’s Play and Podcasts dedicated to my favorite games, I have been enjoying this interesting combination of the two.
Mages and Murderdads: A Baldur’s Gate Show
Just a couple of things that have made me smile thus far:
-In episode #2, the tale of his adventure with “Neera the squirrel”.
-Every time he opens his inventory I smile to see his pack filled with skeleton heads gathered from High Hedge. I did the same thing in my first play through.
-Comments made about how he first discovered that weapons in the game can break, as he realized that more than one of his characters were using broken weapons. Again, something that I remember happening to me back then.
I also think that people who have not yet played the game might find it an interesting introduction. In this case, I would have to add a warning that there will be some spoilers. Still, the game is so big and can be overwhelming for some new players, so if that isn’t a concern then they might want to take a look.
It is a nice introduction to the game, and I personally am finding the commentary both interesting and charming.

In this episode, the crew talk to a very special guest: Phil Daigle, the lead designer on Siege of Dragonspear. They talk about the Forgotten Realms, encounter design, and hint at
Baldur's Gate 3.
