Mirror Image + Invisibility

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Is it normal that you can't be Invisible while Mirror Image is active? I don't remember it working like this in Vanilla BG2 but it's been so long I don't remember.

If somebody could enlighten me it would be appreciated thanks!
