Switching to HoW and losing items

Hello all,

I know when you import a party into Heart of Winter from the main menu, you lose a bunch of gold, and I think containers.

My question is if you go to HoW from the inn in Kuldahar, do you also lose that stuff? How about when you come back to Kuldahar after finishing HoW?

    You lose nothing if you travel between kuldahar and lonelywood repeatedly.

    infact you should absolutely never start HoW from the game menu if you have a regular game in progress. Not even with "import". As far as I understand HoW EE seems to be completely incorporated inside normal IWD with no odd work-around like the original game had.
